Bride Photo Session in Temple City

It was a great solo bride photo session with Brettan Bablove on Saturday in Temple City. The weather was…. 100 degrees? Well at least that how hot it felt like. The location was so beautiful, lots of old buildings to shoot photos without walking a long distance. Other than the weather, I really enjoyed every part of the shoot.

There was a couple Quinceaneras going on at the same time. So many latino boys gather around Brettan and just stare at her! It was very funny but I had a job to do, so I just focued on getting the photos done while these innocent teenagers whistle at her on the side. Those boys will definitely get in trouble with the Quinceanera girl.

The shoot went well and I’d definitely go back to shoot wedding party or engagement again! Beautiful place!!

Wedding in los angeles river center and gardens

Aaroneye Photography introducing Wedding of Alex and Vivian! The wedding in la location was at Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. When I arrived, I start shooting Vivian and the bride’s maids. They were a little shy compared to the groom’s men (really?) but overall the photos turned out great. The bride made her own hand crafted invitation and it was really awesome, everyone loved it! After the 1st shoot, Vivian and Alex did a little dance session at the bar area and it was very dramatic and nice.

I had an opportunity to work with a wonderful videographer John from Imemoryfilms. More than just a videographer, John is a  laid back and nice guy who has rich experience in video industry. Highly recommended for all brides who is looking for a good videographer! Another professional I’d like to mention many thanks to is Jackie from Southern California Wedding Planner. She did an awesome job organizing Alex and Vivian’s wedding and it went silky smooth!

All of us gathered before the ceremony and shot a couple action fun photos. Everyone had a lot of fun before the ceremony and reception. The food was delicious, the music by Lee Dyson was awesome, what a fun wedding this was, this couple’s family knows how to party and have fun!

Engagement in Los Angeles Union Station

I always enjoy shooting an engagement session at the Los Angeles Metrolink Union Station.  Alex and Vivian is such a Fun couple who’s willing to try any kind of action shots and silly stuff. We had a blast and a lot of good images came out of the day.
There are times that securities at the union station will throw photographers out, but we were pretty lucky that day and got it done. After we’re done, we moved down to the subway and shot more photos. The last stop was at downtown Los Angeles.
Anyway, I present to you for the last time as boyfriend girlfriend, Alex and Vivian.

Finding your Los Angles Wedding Photographer

Finding your Wedding Photographer in Los Angeles can be easy and yet challenging.

It is easy because this city is filled with so many photographers, and only a handful of Los Angeles wedding photographer can shoot a wedding like the dream wedding you’ve always wanted.

Before you get started, think about what you want in a photographer. You are looking for either someone traditional or photojournalistic. For a photographer, this is basically the difference between focusing on posed portraits versus candid or color over black and white. Think about what’s important to you and what approach jives with your own style.

Referrals from recent brides and grooms or checking the Los Angeles wedding photographer listings are a great way to get started, but don’t just take their word for it, and do your own research. At the end of the day, it’s really your taste what matters.

It is a good idea to narrow your search on the photographer that has a professional looking website. A slideshow of photos on a website gives you a sense of a photographer’s style.  Blogs show you a photographer’s most recent work, and looking through several of the weddings on their blog will give you an idea about their creativity and style.

Top photographers can be booked up to two years in advance, and some couples hire in demand pros before they’ve even gotten engaged. It sounds a little extreme but that’s the reality. What this means is you need to start looking as soon as possible. Once you pick a date, start making some interview appointments.

Now that you’ve seen several Los Angeles wedding photographer’s images and their prices, it’s time to meet with them in person for an interview. They’re going to be with you all day, often in fairly intimate settings, so you want to be sure you’re comfortable with each other. Traditional Los Angeles wedding photographers need to be able to get everyone organized and smiling. Photojournalistic ones have to keep people acting natural. You won’t get a feel for the photographer’s ability to mesh with everyone if you don’t meet with them first. Remember,  no matter how great their image looks and how low their price is, if they are not  humble or act like a lunatic you should consider to interview the next photographer, as this is your once a life event.

There are so many Los Angeles wedding photographers out there, and it is up to your effort to pick the right one. Start looking early and you will have better chance in succeeding on your wedding day.
