Aaroneye Photography introducing featured bride Brettan Bablove. It was a great solo bride photo session with Brettan on Saturday in Temple City. The weather was…. 100 degrees? Well at least that how hot it felt like. The location was so beautiful, lots of old buildings to shoot photos without walking a long distance. Other than the weather, I really enjoyed every part of the shoot.

There were couple of Quinceaneras going on in that area at the same time. So many latino boys gather around Brettan and just stare at her! It was very funny but I had a job to do, so I just focued on getting the photos done while these innocent teenagers whistle at her on the side. Those boys will definitely get in trouble with the Quinceanera girl.

The shoot went well and I’d definitely go back to shoot wedding party or engagement again! Beautiful place!!

Hi Aaron. Its interesting to see another photographer finding our Blog, so felt it would be nice to return the favour. Comments usually come in overnight from “across the Pond” – and not all of them genuine responses – so was pleasantly surprised to see your beautiful bridal portraits. Love the church in the background – reminds me of one I photographed in Los Gigantes, Tenerife – and your absolutely gorgeous bride. Will you be posting any of the groom or the wedding itself? xx Elaine

The bride’s eyes really pop in these pictures. Did you sharpen or otherwise enhance them after you took the shots?

Emily - April 3, 2011 - 11:59 AM

Irvine Regional Park Engagement Photo Session

Hinna and Shakeel are very much in love and the warmth and affection they share for each other can be found in their engagement photo session. Set in Irving Park, the couple brought along a change of clothes to make the most of their session. Hinna looked dazzling in a simple dress that was accented with the culture and traditions of her family wile Shakeel looked very sharp in a long sleeve blue dress shirt and snazzy bow tie.

The couple and photographer choose a number of beautiful settings in the park, including atop a very large boulder, under a tree, and out in the open which was highlighted by the warm light that embraced both of them. At a later point, Hinna and Shakeel had changed into a less formal look which worked beautifully with the stunning surroundings. Hinna looked positively beautiful is a smart purple sweater match with white pants and blouse. Shakeel kept his jeans, but went with a simple, white long sleeve dress shirt that made for the perfect match with Hinna.

The couple chose several additional places in the park which made for one beautiful setting after another. Under a tree, embracing under the sunlight, and walking together made this particular photo session one to remember for everyone involved. It’s clear that Hinna and Shakeel were having a wonderful time not only being photographed, but spending time together which made the photo session even more memorable. It is times like these that are to be cherished which you can see in the eyes of Hinna and Shakeel in each of their engagement photos.

The Beauty of Irvine Park

The setting for the engagement photo session was beautiful Irvine Regional Park, located in Orange County. The park itself boasts a wonderful array of sights, features, and activities that thousands of people enjoy every day. Filled with Sycamore and Oak trees, it makes the perfect setting for an engagement photo shoot and it certainly showed with Hinna and Shakeel’s session.

What makes Irving Park so beautiful is the combination of trees, rolling hills, and Santiago Creek which runs across the park along with a pond for water activities. It is this wide variety of landscapes that make the park a perfect place for photo shoots where engaged couples find many different places to make a beautiful photograph together.

Like Hinna and Shakeel, most engagement photo sessions are performed early in the morning or late in the afternoon in order to get the best light and to minimize the number of people present. Photo permits are needed in Irving Park, but the result is a wonderful setting where couples can sit under trees, near the pond, creek, or other natural features which makes for an unforgettable session.

Irving Park was the perfect setting for Hinna and Shakeel’s engagement photo session and for many couples it is the perfect place to find many hidden, beautiful settings that make it a highly desired place for all types of photo sessions, particularly those of engaged couples.

Shamini and Raj were recently wed on a beautiful day in Southern California in front of friends and family who were all dressed in traditional Indian attire. The celebration began early with the arrival of both families and mutual friends who celebrated outside the BAPS Mandir even before the happy couple arrived.

The stunning view, palm trees, and the temple itself shined under the bright sun as the procession with Raj in the lead made its way to the wedding venue. His immaculate attire topped by a beautiful turban was almost as joyful as the look on his face as he made his way to the site. His bride Shamini was elegantly dressed in traditional attire and made for a stunning bride.

With Raj having performed his part of the ritual, Shamini made her way to the site. She was so radiant and her happiness filled the outdoor setting next to the temple. The happy couple performed their part of this, the most remarkable of all wedding ceremonies which follow the traditions of Indian culture amid the fanfare of friends, family, and the remarkable decorations which highlighted the event.

With the exchange of rings, the wedding ceremony was complete and next was a wonderful photo session that started with everyone in attendance, the immediate family of the bride and groom and finally Shamini and Raj sharing their love at this most extraordinary site.

The happy couple and those in attendance made their way to the Brandview Ballroom where the reception went into full swing. The incredible setting was wonderfully augmented with gorgeous decorations and the traditional attire that made it an event to remember.

The wedding was held in the stunning BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, located in Chino Hills, California, which is the first mandir built which is earthquake-proof. However, this traditional mandir that was completed in 2012 is also one of the most beautiful structures in the region. Using a solar power system, the mandir is very environmentally friendly particularly for its size. Crafted from Italian Carrera marble and Indian Pink sandstone, this impressive mandir served as the site for the union of Shamini and Raj.

After the wedding ceremony, the reception was held at the celebrated Brandview Ballroom in Glendale, California. A marvelous setting for the celebration that followed the wedding, the Brandview Ballroom is nearly a century old, but has been extensively updated and modernized to hold many different types of events including wedding receptions.

The Ballroom features an outdoor deck as well as an event area that served the reception quite well as the celebration went on into the evening. The beautiful gold leaf spiral staircase, the vast art deco designs from a bygone era, and the incredible ballroom itself only highlighted the beauty of the reception that the families and friends of Shamini and Raj attended.

The wedding of Shamini and Raj was an incredible event filled with the traditions of India amid the beautiful surroundings of the BAPS Mandir and the Brandview Ballroom that no one who attended will forget. It was perfect in virtually every way and created fond memories that will last a lifetime.
